Cirque de Fumbally

It was an action-packed, fun-filled day at the Fumbally Exchange on December 8th, when Grasshopper hosted the family Christmas party. Cirque de Fumbally created a magical, festive atmosphere transforming the office into a circus wonderland.

Jitterbug Jackson got the party started with an extravaganza of comedic circus delights. Performing in an office was a first for Jitterbug and he rose to the challenge in style. Ably assisted by Ken and Aogan, he even managed to perform his juggling-on-a-unicycle-while-blindfold-trick without hitting the roof!

After the performance it was over to the kids to check out their circus skills in workshops with Jitterbug. First up were the 4-6 year olds who learned the secrets of plate spinning, Diablo throwing and stilt walking. Some of the younger kids enjoyed it so much they even tried to sneak back for the second workshop.

Mulled wine, tea, coffee, soft drinks and homemade mince pies, buns and biscuits were served by the Vintage Pop Up Tea Rooms. These were hoovered up in record time by the partygoers.

The grand finale of the day was the arrival of Santa, who descended James Bond style from the roof into Santa’s Grotto. On arrival he was immediately mobbed by the excited kids and his mysterious accent, twinkly eyes and impeccably chosen gifts were a huge hit.

Cirque de Fumbally finished on a high with adults and children exhausted but happy. It was amazing to see so many smiling faces and to hear such great feedback. Thanks to all at Fumbally Exchange who bought tickets, hung decorations, moved furniture, designed posters, painted faces and filmed the event. A special thanks to Jitterbug Jackson and Santa for their awesomeness.
