We love creating events in public places where every family is welcome. We enjoy designing arts projects for streets, parks, squares and other outdoor spaces.

We recently programmed Hillside Festival, in Crumlin, as part of Dublin City Council’s Dublin Alive programme in October 2021. Hillside featured a day of family arts activities, including insect drawing workshops with artist Linda Fahrlin, circus skills with Badcock and Bobbins and dance workshops with Olwyn Lyons. There were shows by Kidisco, Jitterbug Jackson and Cikada Circus and walkabout performances by Curious State and Paul Currie.

We’ve previously programmed and created family activities for festivals, including Carlow Arts festival, Waterford Spraoi, Cork Midsummer Festival, Beatyard and Smithfield Lights.

We brought magic to Smithfield Square in Dublin with GLOW, a family arts festival supported by Dublin City Council. GLOW ran from 2014-2017 and celebrated warmth and light in wintertime. We had magical performances over the years from Monkeyshine Theatre, Lords of Strut, David O’Doherty, Chris Judge and many more; and creative collaborations with local schools and companies including Lighthouse Cinema and Brown Bag Films.
