Children discovered a tropical Jungle Enclosure as part of a science-themed Take your Kids to Work Day commissioned by Meta Ireland.

Children encountered a specially created lush, colourful enclosure filled with exotic flowers, plants, birds and animals, along with lots of fun facts to learn about.

Exploring the jungle, they came up close to fearsome mountain gorillas and super sleepy sloths (both incredibly realistic performers). They got to see real live mini creatures, including stick insects and
an adorable axolotl, courtesy of knowledgeable facilitators from the Herpetological Society of Ireland.
